OUR STORY
Barnhouse Napa Brews was founded by Adam Housley and Eric Barnes—two former journalists who spent years covering global conflicts, dodging tear gas, and chasing stories across six continents. In the chaos, they found comfort in two constants: a good cup of coffee and a great pub.
Years later, after walking away from the news grind, they reconnected at a wedding in Sonoma. A few drinks, a shared vision, and a napkin sketch later, Barnhouse was born.
Not a café. Not a bar. A true public house.
Set in downtown Napa, Barnhouse is the valley’s only coffee-and-brew pub—a warm, laid-back space where locals, travelers, weirdos, wine snobs, trivia champs, and karaoke screamers all mix together. Morning espresso. Afternoon tea. Evening beer, wine, and mead. Cozy couches. Shuffleboard and darts in the Shack in the Back. Dog-friendly vibes, always (shoutout to Leaf, the unofficial mascot).
Designed with reclaimed wood, corrugated metal, and a fireplace or two, Barnhouse feels like your coolest friend’s living room collided with an English pub—and somehow ended up in wine country.
This isn’t your polished tasting room.
It’s Barnhouse. And it’s for you.
